General warranty conditions for aerea WiMAX modems

    1. Warranty conditions

    1. Warranty conditions applicable to the WiMAX modem and all its parts, when used in accordance to the instructions found in the Quick Start Guide and regarding defects caused by manufacturing or materials deficiencies. After a check performed by aerea, the malfunctioning equipment shall be repaired or replaced. Aerea reserves the right to exchange a faulty device with a similar device. Manuals, and if applicable, any supplied software are excluded from these warranty conditions.

    2. If a WiMAX modem is malfunctioning due to any other use or use not in accordance to the instructions of the Quick Start Guide, these conditions are void.

    3. Materials and labor bills are covered by aerea. For any parts to be replaced, aerea will assume ownership of the device.

    4. Aerea reserves the right to modify the returned devices as part of maintenance. Such modifications could include a firmware update, this to ensure that the modem will be returned in its original state. This is free of charge, no specific rights can be obtained from this modification.

    5. The modem is subjected to manufacturer warranty. This warranty covers a period of 12 months. The term begins at the day of delivery of the device to the enduser. The warranty term for parts and exchangeable parts ends with the warranty of the entire device.

    2. Settlement

    Should a problem or a defect occur with a WiMAX modem, it needs to be reported within seven days after noticing the failure or defect.

    1. Damage due to transport, visible on the outside (e.g. damaged packaging or housing), must be reported within 24 hours after reception by the customer. Non visible damage should be reported within two days after reception by the customer. Notifying aerea should be done by calling the customer service. Phone number: 0900-9639 (€ 0,15 p/m).

    2. The risk of transport to the service location is assumed by the requesting party.

    3. Return procedure

    Should a problem with a WiMAX modem not be solvable, please report this to the aerea customer service. The customer service can be contacted on number 0900-9639

    An agent will help to try to solve the error. Should the modem have a real defect, the return procedure will be initiated (RMA).

    The agent will inform you about the procedure and confirm by mail that the device should be return. Depending on the nature of the defect, your modem will be repaired or exchanged.
